Lung cancer
Lung cancer is cancer that starts in your lungs.
There are 2 main types of lung cancer:

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) – This is the most common type, about 8 in 10 lung cancers are NSCLC.

Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) – About 1 in 10 lung cancers are SCLC. This type tends to grow and spread faster than NSCLC.
Cigarette smoking is the most common cause of lung cancer.
