Head and neck cancer

Head and neck cancer is a group of cancers that start in parts of your head and throat, such as your:

• Sinuses (the spaces in your bone around your nose)

• In and behind your nose

• Mouth (including your tongue, gums, and roof of your mouth)

• Salivary glands (glands that make spit)

• Throat

• Voice box

• Lips (this is also a type of skin cancer)
