Transplant: I moved to Oklahoma City in August 2016. In April of 2017, I was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and recovered. However, in August of 2017, I was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and needed a Liver Transplant. I was able to beat Liver Cancer and after the battery of tests was added to the transplant list on February 20, 2018, receiving my liver transplant on August 8, 2018.

I am forever grateful to Nazhi-Zuhdi Transplant Institute and my amazing transplant team and most importantly my SELFLESS DONOR.   I also want to thank my family and friends for all their love & support.

"I know it is a miracle to receive an organ for Transplant and others need to be aware of ongoing research that is happening throughout the world along with donor awareness."
