“My Life As a Transplant Social Worker: Past, Present and Future”

Have you ever wondered about what life is like for those medical staff who care for you before, during and after your transplant? In this unique presentation, our own beloved Liz Shore shares her life as a transplant social worker, currently serving at the Thomas Jefferson University heart transplant program in Philadelphia, Pa. With more than twenty years of working in various transplant programs she has the insights to answer that question. Just back from another of her vacation adventures, Liz will support her talk with stories and slides from her very recent trip to India. Bring family/friends for this very interesting event. Elizabeth D. Shore, MSW,CSW has been a social worker in cardiac transplant and mechanical circulatory support for the past 20+ years. She currently works at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Program.
