Pgm # 102: Supporting Transplant Caregivers through Gift of Life’s Caregiver Lifeline Program

Talia Giordano will present briefly on Gift of Life Family House updates and programs followed by a full presentation on Gift of Life’s Caregiver Lifeline Program, a program designed specifically to support the emotional and psychosocial needs of transplant caregivers. The Caregiver Lifeline Program is the first to deliver programing addressing the complex needs of the caregivers of transplant patients, through multiple educational programs, resources, and mental health program. The Caregiver Lifeline Program has been able to provide support to 1,000s of transplant caregivers trough the Gift of Life service area. The program also supports the qualitative research on transplant patients and caregivers staying at the Gift of life Family House, which has been reported out to multiple national and international transplant conferences.
