| Dear Friends
& Supporters, We are thrilled to announce the
launch of "The Power Of Two,"
a broadcast documentary in production, interactive web community, and
international call-to-action around organ donation and transplantation,
Cystic Fibrosis awareness, and related health causes.
Spearheaded by Academy Award nominated producer Marc Smolowitz, and inspired by the memoir by Isabel "Isa" Stenzel Byrnes and Anabel "Ana" Stenzel, "The Power Of Two" will engage and inspire people around the world by conveying a fundamental truth: There is a miracle in every breath. |
Isa and
Ana are half-Japanese identical twins who have endured a life long
battle with the fatal genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis, and thrive today
in their mid-30s thanks to miraculous double lung
transplants. The first phase of "The Power Of Two" project will bring Isa, Ana and our film crew to Japan in October for a 10 city, 25 day tour. Isa and Ana will share their story and attitudes towards illness and organ transplantation with the industrialized nation that has the fewest organ transplants, and discuss the Japanese version of their memoir, "Mirakuru Tsuinz!: Nanbyou wo norikoeta Futago no Kizuna," which will be released on September 29. Please join us as "The Power Of Two" embarks on the first phase of our journey: 1. Visit and bookmark ThePowerOfTwoMovie.com, which has photos, videos, a Japan tour calendar, blogs, and more. 2.
