TRANSPLANT: BRIDGES TO A NEW LIFE

Ever wonder what all those letters ...UNOS...OPO... stand for? Concerned about a transplant recipient’s greatest fear -- infection? Could osteoporosis happen to you? Has anyone discussed sexuality after transplantation with you? Great questions that will all be answered. There’s even a session for parents with children with transplants and a caregiver session -- sorry, no candidates or recipients allowed at this one. You'll learn how to look and feel good. We've even covered the how to navigate the insurance maze and disability benefits.

So, whether you are a candidate, recipient, or caregiver. No matter where you are waiting or were transplanted, it does not matter. This is a day to learn, ask questions, meet some of the doctors and be surrounded by recipients, all proof positive that TRANSPLANTATION WORKS.
