have been volunteering with the New York Organ Donor Network educating
people about the importance of organ and tissue donation. I have also
worked with another organization The Marcie Mazzola Foundation that
helps children in need. This year again I will be part of Team Donate
Life and will be participating the 2011 Nautica New York City Triathlon
to raise money to help raise awareness of organ and tissue donation and
in memory of my mother Theo. As a donor family member, I can add
a perspective from the other side of transplantation. My
background in media relations will also be an asset to TRIO.
