TRIO Chapter Activity Report
Philadelphia Chapter - January 2013
TRIO Philadelphia has completed its 2012 project of developing and offering its first "Transplant Candidate Information Workshop" the first phase of a three phase project that will include developiing and sharing with other TRIO chpaters a packaged template of this event that can be tailored to meet their own needs, and then a web based version for public use. This workshop's speakers and panels were recorded for use in those later two phases.
The chapter continues to host monthly speaker meetings where local medical professionals give presentations and host open discussion on topics of interest. These sessions are recorded and submitted to the national TRIO Transplant Presentation Library to benefit TRIO membership across the country.
Our quarterly transplant movie night continues.
